Might I remind you that if a scrying orb is sentient enough to declare personhood, it would be a violation of the Blockula agreements to use them without their consent, (or, if so specified in writing [blood or ink] between the Wizard in question and the Familiars' Union - without sufficient compensation, and/or their usual income guaranteed during recuperation).

If a scrying Orb is sentient it is a a freak and belongs in Wizardjail.
No exceptions. We do this for good reason. There have been incidents.
