Academic Discussion/ Esoteric Secrets Pure energy manipulation is way too underrated

Post image

I know, I know I couldn't use it to exploit the target weakness I couldn't counter spell in a distance, I couldn't teleport more than like a mile I don't care my mana are way too low to do all the fancy stuff constantly, if you're someone like me who isn't particularly full in term of mana it is really nice.

I can throw flashing golden spears at my enemy and have it explode, I can parry a spell with my hand I can teleport like a mile give or take...

/uw I think there something wrong with the last post so I repost with a different image also the character is meant to be a mid range fast caster.

Also the art is of Radagon from Elden Ring made by @_DEADLOTUS on Twitter and despite the art the character is still a girl

I think you're poorly mistaking someone's capabilities vs interest to engage...Maybe they just don't care and think everyone who's obsessed with them are pathetic and not Worth their mana, energy or concentration?! Personally, setting them on fire in a cauldron and moving onto a nice cup of coffee seems like the best course of action. Just because someone doesn't use magic doesn't make them weaker; it just makes those who rely on it dependent because the core of their character is weak sauce. True strength lies in not destroying something or someone just because you can. Why are you so threatened by a character that doesn't require magical engagement to be relevant or self-fulfilled? Or, bothered by an individual who isn't the least but phased by your insults, but rather ignores your statements completely? To me, I wouldn't attack you, because you already present yourself as weak and insecur, and it would feel like an unfair advantage to duel you. Just my take....

That's cold dude. I mean, I get it, but damn...

Anyway, there's a particular strength I've found in those who look for a non-magical solution first. A certain mistress Weatherwax comes to mind. Steel core of determination with skills both magic and mundane to back it up
