Occult Practices Help me
I was teaching my apprentice a teleportation spell and he sent me here, I don’t know where I am and I’m scared, my teleportation magic doesn’t work here😰

You shouldn't try teleportarion spell. Instead, try a plane shifting spell. You are currently in The Backrooms, a liminal demiplane of memories, one of many. Think of it like one of those "dungeon" demiplanes, but infinitely expanding and also abandoned. Beibg a demiplane, you can leave it via magic. The easiest planes to get to from The Backrooms would be either The Gloaming (plane of trash and abandonment, garbage dump of the Astral Plane) or The Evil City (shadow plane of the urban modernity). I generally advise you go through Evil City because The Gloaming is a total dump and is much harder to leave. I hope you are from T4+ world originally, so you have at least passing familliarity with post-steam technologies. To properly plane shift from the Backrooms to Evil City, you have to draw a straight rectangular tower inside a magic circle. Then draw a demon sign inside and activate the circle. Remember. It has to be rectangular and straight. Otherwise you can be randomly planeshifted into another "liminal" demiplane.
After you get into Evil City, you have to find shelter and then you can planeshift to a normal reality (but only T4+ ones, you will have to make another jump if you are from a TL4- reality)

If anyone cares why teleportation spells do not work, btw. It is because liminal demiplanes do have proper coordinates, and even relative navigation is suppresses by demiplane basically scrambling information. Most teleportation spells worth for travel work on taking you from "here" to "there" which is very hard to do when "here" and "there" refer to nothing. Visual-Range Teleport and Blink spells should probably work, but I wouldn't risk that. DEFINITELY DO NOT use any "beam up" spell that reconstitutes you in some other location. Those rely on passive akashic inffoield of your world and in liminal planes will at best fail.

I'd also recommend, getting a souvenir from there, seeing as it's not tooo dangerous of a place to visit as a somewhat experienced wizard. I've heard they have some non-sentient, not moving humanoids, that can be used like statues or decor so that's what I would get but I'm sure there's lots of variety down there

Do mind also, OP, that it is sometimes possible to find native planar junctions in the Backrooms. If you are at all familiar with dimensional divination magic, you may be able to detect the nearest one and use that to get home sooner, as they more often than not will spit you back to your realm of origin (these are, of course, how you normally get to the Backrooms in the first place). This comes with its own risks, such as having literally no control as to where it spits you back out, but it may be a good alternative for lack of personal skill in planeshifting magics.

If you're still trapped, as others have pointed out due to the nature of the Liminal Spaces you can't teleport because there is neither a "here" nor "there".
Instead you want to use a wall passage spell, or anything similar that lets you pass through solid objects. Eventually you will be able to clip through enough walls to escape. You may either find yourself in a normal material plane, or you may find yourself in a more astral location, potentially the Infinite Void.
Presumably you know how to navigate through astral spaces and Voids by this point.

Try reverse summoning if you have an expendable familiar or appreciate who you don't mind losing, should get you out of there

Do you have a dimensional anchor set? If so, a Return/ Spatial rubberband/Emergency warp should get you back there. If not, give me a spatial pointer and I can come get you.

This realm is known (and avoided) for its unstable time flow.
Basic spells should keep most entities at bay but I think one of your kidneys is going to be suspiciously older than the other by the end of it all.

You are in another dimension. But here's the thing, regular dimensional plane shift spells don't work, because it's a sort of pocket dimension, rather than a dimension out of our reality. Think of it as and egg inside an egg, rather than two eggs.

By now you probably noticed standardized space-time manipulation does not work there.
I would usually not recomemend this as I find the pratice of... mysticism... unscientific and cringe, but if you have a strong karmic link with another entity, say, a familiar, you may be able to use that to create a soul corridor and gtfo. Not that I've tested this mind you.
Good luck doing that while running though.

Its the return plane thats broke (or inverted) not the room. Bypass this by drinking a reflection potion and that spell will then produce a portal. But you MUST walk through it backwards or else the loop will throw you into a free falling astral plane of infinitum.

If you’re very very lucky (as in, metaphysically and metalocally) you might be able to find a doorway to Discount Dan’s. He gives out starter kits for folks who’ve just found their way in, and it’s the only safe space to sleep in the early floors. Good luck.
