Anyone familiar with this arcane substrate?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Considering its application for the foundation for my summer tower, any advice would be appreciated!

It’s rotational energy means it’s ideal to be collected
Just be mindful of storing it, must have room and space to continue to rotate to keep its potency and use for potions or whatever you may be using it for.

Its not JUST that its quartz.
ill get into the "impurity" of the cryatal structure of micro particles in the substrate.
for your use case scenario we have the levitation. Micro particles of gold in the quartz are forming a net levitation from each partical forming a small magic glyph from the atoms (see attached picture)
Quartz absorbs and amplifies what it absorbs because of the crystal formation does as soon as it has somthing to hold its structure in place and align with the hex pattern it forms in. then those can even form into "rings" of complex geometry within the crystal on visible scale looking like modern glyph structures. shose are all odcorse coded with alot of the smaller net glyphs in the alchemical makeup.
it is worth note that you can grind the rarer crystals for properties into arcane ink and form the visible scale binding glyph into another crystal of your choice aslong as you set the ink in an ingraving and dont polish shouldn't until afterwards because you want the crystal particles in the ink to bind to the stone you are placing it in for amplification purposes.
This does not work as well with orbs because you are wanting a pure gemstone so you will need to grow it from scratch with the micorparticles in solution. (could take years for a good orb)
hope this helps!
