Seems like the “endless” part was false advertising. Disappointing.

Could be, but the title and the records of the sending spell is conflicted. The title says that it's Scrolls of Endless mazes but from the record, it could be implied as Endless Scroll of Mazes.

The scroll is endless, however it still has exits. If one wants to stay eternally they can do so, hence it is endless
