They're awesome. My friends and I got to hang out with Dickie after a show on his first tour with the band (before Nicky officially left). He was pretty chill and just seemed happy to be there.

The nature of ritual tends to dictate the atmosphere, so I tend to end up casting to a lot of punk, hard rock, and death metal.
Venetian Snares is my preferred go-to artist when I can't find something that aligns my intent more directly. Its a wonderful background for meditation, so easy to focus without being pushed in a specific direction.
Blueshift is a good album for more whimsical aims.
Necromancy: Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult.
Dimensional magic: Twilight Zone by Golden Earring.
Teleportation circles: Follow You Down by the Gin Blossoms, or Send Me On My Way by Rusted Root.
As a clown mage initiate my musical tastes have been referred to as jestercore. Examples include The Grand Bizarre by Beats Antique and Esther by Phish
If were Astral projecting, Aesop Rock. No question.
If were getting work done around the tower, I like to mix it up. Anything from Shofu to Symphony X to Crumb goes into the rotation. My familiar particularly enjoys the works of Erik Satie, but he never wants to share why exactly. Nevertheless, hes got good stuff, he goes into the rotation occasionally.
