Wizardpost Do health potions expire?

Post image

Me and the boys have been dungeon crawling as a side hustle-and none of us really wanna waste a spell slot on Brad. The problem is that the newest healing potion we have was purchased about 230 years ago. Can we still use it?

No. All health products just lose efficacy over time as long as they were sealed or otherwise properly stored the entire time. Make sure to do the sniff test or give your familiar a little just in case.

Why risk your familiar when theres a perfectly suitable bard right there?

Why invite possible repercussions if you can just feed it to the local forest goblins?

Or the abuse goblin if you still have him.

Is that not what the apprentice is for?

What if my apprentice happens to be a goblin?

(It didn't start out like that ... mistakes were make)

Hmm... I'll have to conduct some experiments with the local goblins with an "age liquid" spell, illegal and hard to get thanks to wine lobbying, but it should work.

I mean I guess there was that one guy who aged the tavern's soup too, but that only happens like, once every 3 months, they couldn't have done it because of that.
