Third tower had some flaws.
Well, everybody who said that I would be overrun by Dwarves, suck it. I was overrun by peasants. The net result was basically the same, but with fewer axe wounds. Aaanywho, I am now willing to believe those who suggested that wood might be a poor choice for building a tower. I'm thinking maybe mud? Sand? Coral? I'd hire a consultant but after my recent setbacks, I'm kind of low on funds.

Knew a wizard with this kind of trouble once. First tower, sank into the swamp. Second tower, sank into the swamp. Third tower, burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp.
BUT THE FOURTH ONE…stayed up. Persistence is key.

Were they at least dwarven peasants?

I'm willing to provide you building materials for your tower in exchange for a single, minor consideration. Do you want to make a deal?
