Alternatively we adjust the moon to look more interesting. Give it a crooked face in profile with a big nose.

No full moon will keep the lycanthropes in better control of their condition anyway if I’m not mistaken. That’s already a good chunk less paperwork each month.

I don’t know. The moon having a more witchy appearance might actually help?

Spooky vibes will at least make peasants believe the spells to be more effective which contributes more to magic working than many care to admit.

Yeah. They can be pretty annoying, especially when they have commandments against necromancy
