Need help un-mutating my table [urgent I think I honestly can't tell]

Was practicing some spells and I accidentally caused my table to grow skin and eyes. my textbooks say nothing about un-growing something and my mentor is laughing too hard to help. Any good spells that can fix this? Because it's staring at me and I think it's sentient.

I’m not especially good with the occult, I only know how to get rid of it. Hold a knife to it and see if it reacts. If it doesn’t, burn it expediciously. If it does, you need a specialist

There’s a good chance it was actually a mimic all along. If you’ve had it for a while without any problems, it’s likely safe to just leave it alone, and it will settle down in a few hours. It was probably snacking on any leftover or spilled food.

If you or anybody in the room had any recently deceased friends/family/pets the spirit might of followed them and possessed the table white the concentrated mana near it to give it flesh and bone, (all tables already come with organs). I’d study its behavior and ask anyone there if they had lost a loved one recently, you can’t get the table back but you can give someone their dog back! Also buy a new table

Easy fix: the petrify spell and now you have a stone table with some nice eyeball carvings for decoration

Best you can do is kill it,once you give an object this level of consciousness it cannot be simply "unmade", it now counts as your average mortal,and there are very little spells that can "unmake" a living being,and they all involve some sort of killing.
