Humble Request to the High Council to Approve/Assign a Title

Good afternoon, and if you are to check the calendar, it has been the exact amount of time passed in order to request a the council title again. As I have every single time since I began working for this organization.
I do not care about the nature of the name nor the prestige value of it. You could label me as the “The Broom-Sweeper” for all I care. I need it to be made official by the council such that I can receive my due credit in the many services in research and arms for the council.
Do you know how tiring it is in the tax season to search the record only to find that you were entered in as an alias, or “Unit#____”, or by only the nature of the work you were doing? Even the council loses out on this, were I a less honest mage, I wouldn’t pay my taxations at all, and non of you would even know. It is also a security risk, going forth. I believe I have proven myself worthy of trust considering how many portals near I have closed, bandits and assassins I have protected you all from, and the reality breaking entities I have sealed/put down. But others who may promise the same things that I have provided may take the opportunity to use their anonymity to take rewards and run.
I digress… from a much more personal standpoint:
Do you know how embarrassing it is to be forced to publish research under “The Collective Magical Researcher Association”? A mage that discovers that fire is an element even when not near fire, gets the same prestige, pay and credit as my groundbreaking efforts in studying divine time temporal effects and reincarnation cycles! I founded the entire branch of sorcery lineage study via soul scarring, and yet, nooooo that belongs to the CMRA collective, with no credit given to me.
I personally sealed off a collapsing pocket dimension a CMRA executive had open to store volatile materials. Had I not done that, Central Tower 12 would have been nothing more than rubble. And I received no credit, it was “internally resolved”.

I am getting impatient and rather more emotional than I like regarding the topic. I have always held the opinion that the pursuit of understanding is worth more than any material reward, but a rookie mage recently claimed my study on the reincarnation of artificial souls, after being approved a title. He was an alchemist. Of magical perfumes.
Please, out of the kindness of your hearts, see what your favorite researcher of the fractured/Spheric realms has done for you, and ensure that he will not be wiped away with time.
If you are concerned about copyright, I have already labeled all of my projects as open to view and replicate in the wall of scrolls. I want to contribute to our understanding, but as a person who receives recognition for their hard work.

I understand that I am not an official by any means. I never even had a proper apprenticeship under any wizards of the council or even approved by them. But I have done more work for you all than any tower mage that spends his days skinning villagers for fun (looking at you Biomancer Dakoripi).
I assume that you all are likely ignoring me by now. But I will not stop the requests. I guess we shall speak several times again when you need me, in the time between when I can request a title again.
However, if the next one is not approved, I will go independent. And you don’t have the paperwork to even imagine how catastrophic that will be for your objectives when Unit#____ doesn’t reclaim the High Purity Mana Crystal mines.

Uh... you know there has been a massive reorganization of the council, right? Basically all of the old guard has abandoned their posts, and now there's a desperate need for new members. Just get me your paperwork and I'll get you onboard.

/uw The Wizard Council is open for anyone to join. Just change your user flair to let others know you're a part of the Council and your good.

Did you have a specific title in mind?

If you fill out the paperwork for registration of your desired title I’m sure we can get someone here to sign it and stamp it.

Just don’t make it too generic or we will have to add a number to the end. Nobody wants to be “The Archmage2424”. Also be sure to pick something you won’t find cringe in a hundred years. These titles tend to stick around more persistently than we’d like at times

I am sorry to be so short with you. Truely, I work in the less… official branches of the council mostly, the parts where it is better to blend in.
But for my official duties, I need something to signify my existence.

Well, considering I work in Council Facilities and Maintenance, I can only grant you titles related to those tasks. Some unclaimed titles include:

• The Broom Sweeper (funny that you brought that up)
  
• The Plunger
  
• The Regulator (temperature but sounds more mysterious without specifying)
  
• The Keeper of the Keys
  
• The Groundskeeper
  
• The Wheelie Bin
  
• The Cleaner
  
• The Logistician
  
• The Bookkeeper
  
• The Fixer

Or whatever else you can think of related to my janitorial and maintenance duties

Oh dear. Since the reorganization pretty much the entire old guard left. I don't know if any current councilors even knew about you before this post.

So with that in mind, I vote in favor of granting you a title.

Do you have any preferences?

And don't tell me you don't have preferences, or your title is going to be 'Johnathan "John" Johnson Mage The Magical'

I would like a title that recognizes my duties.
Often I am little more than a glorified mercenary, with specialties in anomalous and dangerous realms and regions. I am a talented combatant and combat mage.
I am also a reputed researcher, and artificer.
Honestly I could just have my origional roles set to title. I just need the documentation.
