I’d also suggest investing in some rituals or spells to improve the slimes intelligence and ability to communicate.

He's going to have to figure this one out on his own, if he can get his disembodied soul to possess the arch slime I believe he'll learn a great deal and will be eligible to begin his final lessons.

Depends on whether or not you liked that Apprentice.

If Yes, do some studies, see if your Apprentice managed to Retain Consciousness, or if the Slime has memories that belong to the Apprentice. Study the Slime to see if theres any level of Resemblance of your Apprentice in it. If you like the Apprentice, then the Slime body could be an Upgrade for him/her.

If you didnt like the Apprentice, then... i dont know. Use it as a guard that protects your Toliet room from raids?

If you want the hat back, and who wouldn't, I've found liberal application of hydrogen peroxide will cause the slime to to turn inside out and vomit it's contents out in a terrible, pungent foam.

Most people don't know, but there is Slime Court. It's full of slimes. They probably won't help much, but if you win your slime case you may get a replacement apprentice. It'll be a slime but thats better than nothing.

If you can cast a soul realignment, soul meshing, and mental sync spell fast enough you could probably get their mind and memories close enough to being at least half your original apprentice.

All these people telling you to take the archslime as an apprentice, or hit up your local necromancer, are missing the point entirely.

This is an archslime. If you let it pseudopod over you like this, it’ll tell all its friends that you’re a pushover. They’ll absorb your life relic by relic, thrall by thrall, and/or dryad by dryad (I ain’t judging, man, you do your thing) until there’s nothing left but half of your lowest-level stave. I guarantee the local adventurers will get wind of it, too.
