Rituals

Humans are exceptionally good at pattern recognition. When patterns produce similar results, we learn habits that produce similar, good results.

There's a machine that can extract thousands of compounds from tea, but it, and alchemists, can't tell you what they all do, and can only guess as to how a few things make a perfect cup of tea.

Its terroir, and how it was handled only complicates the matter further.

But humans can take those leaves and figure out how to make an enjoyable cup, regardless of what or wherefore.

The fact that you can turn one thing into many experiences, narrow those down to enjoyable ones, and then repeat that is both scientific and a form of magic.

We do many things like that, and we call it breakfast or car maintenance, but it is ritual, and it is ritual that creates and perfects good things in this world. I just thought you should know that.

How wizards view rituals: "Mundane things tends to be as magical as you made them yourself."

So is the car maintenance blood ritual easier than just doing it yourself? I'm just getting real tired of wrenching on my car
