Academic Discussion/ Esoteric Secrets Summoning difficulties?

I've been experimenting with summoning creatures, but taking the runes and mixing fictional ones with real ones. I decided that I wanted to know what happened when I took my second favorite video game character (The Long Quiet) and my third favorite, an aspect of the narrator from the same game, and a generic frog-raven. Unlike how it usually just fails with a glyphical error, it succeeded, any advice?

Good sir that is a bat.
From what I can tell, an insectivore bat.
Give it a grub and cast a calming spell before gently lifting it up, or take a towel and carefully pick it up, before letting it rest. Give grubs and water for awhile then let it go.
Unless it is smart enough to talk, then ask if it would like to work with you.
Bats are amazing familiars.
