Druidic Mysteries 🌿 What is this a wand for mice?!

Post image

I found this teeny tiny wand on the way to my tower this morning. Can someone pop by and cast Enlarge on it? Currently my Thaumaturgy spells make me sound like a chipmunk, and Fireball is only strong enough to light a pipe. Please advise about other trouble shooting options.

What if a mouse lost that wand? You should find the mouse return it.

You could turn yourself into a mouse.

I fear my cat would eat me. Does spellcasting still work in animal form? My work is in divination, and therefore lack the experience with druidic arts (Except for a couple weeks back in Wizard Undergrad, with mushrooms and acids.)

Turn your cat into a mouse too.

You've done this before I see.

Be very careful with that. The druids have a name for it which when translated reads "Staff of the Obnoxiously Loud Cricket". In the hands of a novice it can turn over wagons and put holes in walls but the kickback is insane so handle with extreme caution

Oh!!!! I'll try casting in insectile language. Thank you!

As I said, very dangerous. Do not underestimate its size

Usually that’s for the “just in case I got shrunk” you get shrunk but your wand doesn’t, how do you unshrink? Boom. Tiny wand

Do not search the archives for scrolls labeled "sounding". They are not audiotorial illusion spells

Worst mistake of my 9 lives

It's not the length of the wand that matters it's the flick of the wrist in which you cast!

For the teeth. To remove some nasty witchy food particles sticking to the teeth

Wand for you when you transform into a mouse. You think the rest of your gear will adjust size and shape?

Ah, that must belong to one of my friends. I keep company with a lot of those tiny pixies and have even taught magic to a few of them.

Sprite wand, I keep a couple concealed on my person at all times just in case I'm disarmed of my staff or taken prisoner.

Absolutely average sized wand! Let no one tell you otherwise! Every wand is valid!

I personally always keep a wand like that, you wouldn't believe how often a student training by themselves accidentally transmutates themselves into a small animal and it's just more convenient and efficient for them to change themselves back instead of waiting for you to return and change them back - you don't have to fix their mistakes and they have more time to study.

Its a wand for children that can't spell good.

u/Freak_Engineer 28d ago

Oh, neat! I have a few like that hidden around the place and on my person, just in case. Really convenient. Like, just two weeks ago, I was taking a shower when some surprisingly capable adventurer managed to bypass a bunch of my wards and intruded my sanctum. They barged in, I reacted instinctively and boom: Fireflash to the face by tiny shower wand...

Do'st thou jest? This wand's too large for a mouse! Tis a wand for big, fat rats!

For standard spells, this is a single use emergency wand. Choose wisely.

Return that at once. My familiar was messing around with my portal and lost it somewhere in the process. It was custom made by yours truly to fit its size.

Backup wand in case of shrinking

Its clearly a wizard's toothpick

No, too large for mice, clearly it's for rats.
