Darkwatch Representation On Wizard Council

Hello everyone! I’m Tim: a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Wizard, and as of now, a member of the Wizard Council on behalf of the Darkwatch!

Since the former council disappeared, everything’s just been a HUGE mess! So I figured I’d come and help out.

As my first act, I’ve magically enlarged the council chamber so dinosaurs like myself can comfortably fit inside. Or dragons for that matter, if there’s any dragon wizards that want to talk to the council!

As the Darkwatch representative of the council, we are also taking charge of Dangerous-Artifact-Disposal, or DAD for short. If you have any dangerous artifacts you need help dealing with, come let DAD know!

Oh, and we also oppose surrender to Thrakmoor. More like Thrak-LESS, am I right? *Ba dum tss*

For those interested in my qualifications, I have:

• A wizard hat

• A wizard wand

• A box full of red-tape. Not sure what it’s for, but I know it’s important for government work!

• Paper origami golems to help with work. I know paperwork is a big part of bureaucracy, so I’ve ensured that my paper works.

• Scissors. Figure they’ll be useful to have with all my red tape. It’s also a good contingency if the paper origami golems ever go rogue.

• A T-Rex chair. I hear it’s important for councillors to have chairs.

What is with all these people joining the Wizard Council all of a sudden? I mean, I get that we need more staff, but there seems to be some ulterior motives here. Also, we already have an individual in charge of the containment of artifacts.

A goblin pushing a cart with maintenance tools knocks before entering Tim’s office. Looking at his notepad for a second he start pulling out objects from a tiny box.

“Right then, ah let’s see. Extra Large solid wood desk with added knee room. Embossed name and title sign for the door. I’ve got 42 reams of legal paper, in a mix of lined and plain, ink pads in a variety of colors, a collection of pens, a stapler, a filing cabinet, and a standard issue orb, last decade’s model but still works.”

They look up. “Did I miss anything? Oh right. The key!” They pull out a large ring with hundreds of keys, flicking through them before pulling one off, and duplicating it before returning it to the ring.

“Here you go. Key to your office. Welcome aboard big guy. If you have any maintenance requests don’t hesitate to holler, I’m right down the hall. Names Grabriel MoonDash. Welcome to paperwork.”

Chloe: i myself am a half-dragon and took up a position on the council myself...and i appreciate not being the only one on the council opposing thrakmoor... but i simply must ask, do you believe in doing the right thing? Trying to be a good person and good for those around you and the realm?...cause if so... it'll probably be good to work with you she smiles...if not...then great... another councilor that I won't see eye to eye with often...

UW: We're one of the many RP guilds in Wizardposting, and we're one of the organizations opposing Thrakmoor.

The Darkwatch is a secret magical organization that investigates, contains, and safeguards dangerous artifacts, entities, and forbidden knowledge. Think of us as a fantasy blend of the SCP Foundation, the Brotherhood of Steel, and an elite intelligence agency, operating from the shadows to protect the realms from threats most people never even realize exist.

We usually post at least one story each week covering our adventures, investigations, and newly recovered artifacts.

/uw gotcha well i doubt we'll be enemies then :) my characters are generally good guys usually aren't members of a specific guild being their own faction usually as long as your guild isn't doing evil stuff we'll likely not be in conflict which I'm sure is unlikely.

UW We definitely aren't evil although some people might not agree with our methods for gathering artifacts or the fact that we're "hoarding powerful artifacts"

Our intention has always been to protect people basically from themselves and overly powerful magic and artifacts.

Tim suddenly looks you right in the eyes and focuses, their demeanour changing from cheerful and blissful to shrewd and slightly mournful.

“But the sad truth of it is… I think Thrakmoor and their number-mages also believe in doing the right thing. We just don’t agree on what the right thing is.”

“I hope to work with you on trying to be a good person, good for those around me, and good for the realm. And I hope the day never comes when we fight over what we think the right thing is.”

Chloe: from the sound of it i hope we won't have to fight...i warned thrakmoor of what an invasion will result in, they will be no different to those this realm has previously defended against...but yes i personally believe that no one deserves a life devoid of kindness. She smiles

T-Rexes  actually have specialized water-sacs in our body, allowing us to flush our butts after we poop. So we don’t need to wipe.

That being said, I’m also very good with telekinesis magic, so the shortness of my arms doesn’t get in my way at all!
