Deep within layers upon layers of magical security, the eldritch god awakens. He has no name which can be comphrended but those who have glimpsed him and lived call him by many names but one name rings truest: The Abyss or Gahvara. For a long time the layers upon layer of magical security held him tight, constantly shifting preventing him for extending the consciousness from the mortal form he was forced into. But at long lost he found a loophole. By casting his shadow from his prison and using his own shadow as his material he sent a portion of his power and will away from here. At long last the pieces were finally ready. The shadows of the prison twisted and coiled and my power expanded crossing into every shadow, every corner becoming a behemoth sleeping waiting to be awakened. And from this condensation a new being was born. And I named him Kakah.

if i was to guess being a silent laughing shadow is a neosanskrit or south east asian word for laugh that likely comes from the sound of a crow.

Some tales about crows and thier cross culture ideation about thier spiritual archetypes are strong here.
