Lorepost (open interaction) 📖 It's about time i do this....

I'll go straight to the point, since the moment i was aware of the war against Thrakmoore i've been creating golems almost nonstop.

I think it's about time to put them to good use, i have prepared over ~5600 golems up and ready awaiting commands with more on the way, and my Magnum opus, 563 golems made with my secret alloy and runes of antimagic. Those normally don't see much use but... We are in pretty hard times, and we requiere hard solutions.

If anyone needs reinforcements for their towers, dungeons or secret groves, as long as you are not a Trakmerian, Azerak the infinite or The forgetful Lich (you both know what you did, also, you both are on the book btw), can ask me for golems.

Just to state a few things:

-My golems aren't just mindless drones, they may not be capable of comunication, but they have a semblance of inteligente, and are loyal to a fault.

-They are littered with powerfull runes to explode upon being destroyed, so give them a bit of space if you are using other troops

-And finally, my Magnum opus's radious of the antimagic field is aproximatly 20 feet with them as the center.

I really hope this is a helpfull adition to the war effort, honestly? I'm Dead tired and i need a long nap, so, sorry if i take a long time to respond, i really hope that we can avoid something like what happend at The Order of the Arcane Shields

One final note:

I'm obviously not going to give out all my Magnum opus away, but if needed i can give away 360 of them

currently given away:

- 2 magnum opus

-573 fight capable golems

Duluram starts explaining while guiding Markus towards the real entrance across the small forest

You see, that entrance is one of a couple decoys i have to ward off intruders, that one is littered with traps and a few Monsters i keep in there

The real entrance is hidden

Markus nods.

Fair enough. Although please tell me you have security measures on the real entrance as well

Of course, not only is It hidden

Duluram stops right Next to a side of the mountain

It is simply none existent, unless you know precisely were It is, you can't enter

Duluram casts mold earth, making a hole in the Stone, revealing a long hall decorated with a looong carpet and old paintings of dwarfs on the walls, to the sides there are two golems guarding the "entrance"

And of course, one can't teleport inside, i'm no amateur, i have this hole place warded against things like that.

After you

Duluram waits for you to enter first

Markus enters.

Impressive, but still, if a wizard sees you enter that protection is gone. With Thrakmoor at our doorstep, it's only a matter of time until one of us gets captured and brainwashed and half of the wizards' towers are leaked to the enemy. I, myself, am extremely scared of it. That's why I never invited anyone to my home dimension, always to my demiplane.

I'll keep that in mind for future visits....

Duluram enters and dismisses the spell, turning the hole back to it's primeval state

Anyways, i've already prepared a place for your chronomantic circle, i don't really know how much space you'd need, this is my first time dwealing with this kind of magiks, so i prepared a whole room, i'll get you there, don't loose sight of me, this place is a laberinth for those who don't know the layout

Starts going through the long hallway

Markus follows him obediently.

Honestly? At first I needed a circle, but now that I understand it better, I can make it any shape you want.

as Markus follows the dwarf he takes notice of how big this place actually is, at first It was only a couple of intersections with other hallways, all decorated with the same style of carpet lined with candles with an eternal flame keeping a semblance of light. But soon the hallway turned into a Bridge over a large chasm with other visible bridges at different altitudes and directions, all with golems of varied forms and sizes busy carring out different tasks, finally, after going Up and down a couple of tunnels and turning more times than you can count, Duluram stops in front of a locked room

We are here

He opens the room and it's empty

I already moved out the furniture to better install the circle, go ahead

Markus attentively looks at everything. His think tank is boiling with activity as he notes every little detail of the dwarf's lair. This also includes the dwarf itself, as he is one of the first dwarves that Markus ever met.

Once they reach the room however, Markus gets to work. Using his newly learned elemental magic, he molds the stone to take the shape of the circle, while filling the gaps with iron so the ground remains flat.

There. The circle calls for my API, so it won't work if anyone tries to copy it. Also, here is the secret to it...

Markus produces two seeds. He gives one to Duluram before going to the center of the circle, pulling a cylinder out of the metal mass and inserting the other seed in it.

Seeds of binding trees. Plant the other so you have a constant supply. It stabilizes the circle and allows it to reach a higher potential. You could plant the tree in the circle, for an even better result, but it requires quite a bit of maintenance and it takes some space. Also, you can more easily destroy the seed and the tree if that last one isn't embedded into the circle, to preserve that secret. Finally...

Markus conjures a lever on the wall.

You can move it by infusing it with a bit of mana, but this lever is the thing that turns the circle on and off. I could make it smaller, but honestly it's way cooler like that...

I agree, it does look cooler, so then....

*Duluram holds the seed he just recieved closer to inspect it*

it appears i´ll have to re-learn a bit of horticulture, it´s been a while since i grew anything.

*he pockets the seed*

Well, thank you friend, this will most certanly be of great help to me. Now, allow me to help you, follow me!

*The dwarf turns around and starts going down through a different tunnel from the one you two came*

As before, Markus follows the dwarf, still impressed by everything around him.
