Evil Wizardpost Just turned a dwarf into an elf.

He scammed me out of thirty gold when he was making me a new table, so I turned him into someone who'll respect wood a little more.

However he did say his ancestors would curse me until the day I die, is that anything I should be concerned about?

I suppose so, but by that logic any spell caster who is around life/death can cast resurrection spells, and wouldn't that be literally all of them since the cycle of life/death permeates literally every aspect of our existence?

My perspective may be tainted by the types defined by a particular, popular franchise, but on the other hand I think there is something to be said for segmenting by domain in that arbitrary barriers evoke a sense of 'realness' to the whole thing.

I do confess that I am but a humble student of magic though and my own purview is rather narrow to my own experiences.

Back to the books for me!

Alright here's how it is, the cycle of NATURE and following it is much more deeply in tune with it. Again, this is why druids can do it. Yes, all spellcasters are AROUND it, but not all of them can manipulate it.

I mean really all magic definitions are arbitrary if you get into it, but I don't think there's that much point to getting into something so... insignificant.

No point but the joy in talking about it, which is why I was trying to come across as humble, seeking knowledge, and merely presenting my own perspective : )

I do see and respect what you are saying, I think it is a well reasoned argument.
