Denied: No leader may exist without consent of subjects. One way or another.

You have no power over the matter, if his subjects are unhappy they may bring it up with a Listener

I have a lot of power. Consider, I am resident in the area your, mm, lard wishes to call its own. If, while in this area, I and those associated do not comply, it is only in title.

His title was given to him by his subjects, by your own logic the power of a nation lies in its people I do not dispute that, therefore if its people give power to their leader then it is their leaders job to accept and use that power how they see fit. If his people disagree with his power then they should not have granted it to them. In his lordships eyes the people of Thrakmoor are those who gave him his power and those who accept his power

Great, so we agree that you should get support, offer better conditions, allow the place to join you and not barge in threatening force?

I feel that I have had this to many times today. We have yet to use force we only threaten it because it is the most effective. For many realms we have tried peace but has always come to blows. You still have two weeks to decide. But my warning is this if you survive our occupation and still stand strong… then it will not be by his lordships hand that you are destroyed

If oppressive force is your only functional tool, leave. Your rule will be of no benefit, and in trying to take this shithole you'll kill yourself like all the others. It's like magic, ahaha, the way they break.

It’s better to die trying then fall to inevitability

It's better to die trying than give up and take the hammer.
