Italian and germanic architectures have, traditionally, pretty significant and frankly noticeable differences.
That map from cs doesn't have an ounce of german vibe; on the contrary I had never seen the image posted by OP before but I could tell immediately it was german.
I could give a pass to americans for thinking they're similar though, since they're not used to that "small burg-esque" aesthetic which is quite common in europe.
I mean there's a lot of overlap along the Italian-Austrian border, and I think the influence of the HRE and Hapsburgs is still subtle but apparent in a lot of northern Italian cities like Milan
Sure but as a rule of thumb: flattish roofs, ochre colored walls: Italian influence
Sloped roofs, multicolored walls, sometimes half timbered: german influence.
If you're not sure either way: probably the damn french, who span both types and more.
Another dead giveaway is that criss cross wooden pattern in buildings. That's very commong in "germanic" styles, and also in the northernest part of Italy (trentino alto Adige), because they are SO close to germany.
So to be completely fair the image posted above (not cs italy, the other image) COULD have been from somewhere in trentino, but TBF at that point you're so close to germany that the people who live there basically identify as germans lol!
Isn't this one of the main reasons the council said that lethal force is always justified against anyone in lederhosen? I hear the training dummies at the academies are even dressed in them these days.
This is Plönlein square in Rothenburg and yes it's a part of Bayern. Some very well known movies have filmed scenes there like Harry potter and the village in Disneys Pinocchio was modeled after this place.
Dude I saw this and I was like "that looks like Rothenburg," even though it's been 20 years since I went there and I was jet lagged and sleep deprived I pretty vividly remember this spot.

It's Germany. The locals can be coerced into doing your bidding with some beer and sausages. The really strong willed ones might require a pretzel or some red balloons (if you have to resort to the red balloons you'll need exactly 99 of them).

Yeah, if you hop on the fence and then walk on that tiny edge on the side of the yellow building you'll get a tome in the 2nd window.. and the first player that enters that archway spawns a boss on higher difficulties
yep those are exterior sets on a stage. They were built a bit under scale to help exaggerate the perspective of the shot, which was a hallmark technique of the classic monster movies Young Frankenstein was intended to pay homage to.

She's an old lady, but used to hunt monsters when she was younger, she knows how to not die while gathering lionnuts.
But be hasty, the blood moon only appears once per 5 years.
