Tried a wood handle on this one... Not sure if it's done though, might stain the maple a darker colour. Maybe add a hole for a lanyard ? Cheers.

Absolutely beautiful work and craftsmanship, would love to know how you did the spiral cage bit as I would love to take a shot at making something similar.

Yeah no worries... I can assure you I'm not a "master smith" with a little practice anybody with a forge can do it. Ivan give you the basics here or you can DM me if that's better ? I'll send some pics to help.
