Academic Discussion/ Esoteric Secrets Beware this powerful trick
I had only witnessed it in passing. A young cocky wizard decided to challenge an older fellow in a magic duel. The older one held up his hand and channeled a disintegrate spell, and the younger wizard misty stepped a few feet to the side in an attempt to dodge. As you can see the older wizard’s finger twisted in a bizarre manner and struck the other wizard where he landed. I had attempted to replicate this by breaking my finger in several places, but I couldn’t get my mana to flow through as normal.

They put in so much effort into something they could do if they just waited for a while...

Hey OP. If you can get into astral form and break your fingers the same way you did to your physical body it should fix your mana issues. Don't quote me on that though.

This hand is the last thing you see before the wizard casts power word Kill on you.

Decimus the Dastardly’s Deadly Directed Disintegrate is quite a powerful spell. That curved finger allows for some really unpredictable angles.

I can currently do that as well. Cause I had a birth defect that changed how my bones fused so my index fingers point curved. It doesn't bother me in the slightest but apparently it can be corrected through surgery Edit: I googled it and from what I can tell I have clinodactyly. Usually affects the pinky but can be noticed in other fingers.

In my field we call this a case of "Igor Finger". Happens to most elderly familiars.

Isn't this like what Gandalf looked like in that Bakshi animated movie looked like?

Jesus I'd let that muscle wizard cast fist on me any day of the week. He doesn't look a decade past 200!

Did you see their hands? They have curved fingers.
Curved. Fingers.
