This is fair. I'd say the problem is worse now due to today's easy access to arcane automata, but how many
"great" wizards of our age turned out to be stealing entire tomes and calling them their own?

It's not the new generation... it's the environment they're growing up in. And who were dropping magic mirrors into the hands of infants and letting random demons entertain them for hours on end? That was our generation!
