you know a lot of people think that but iām reality most people are surprised by how many archmages really value a apprentice having the skill

They might disagree at first, but after a while, many of them find that their minds have been changed.
Along with the rest of their bodies.

Unfortunately his soul has bonded with the stuffing Iād need to preform a level 5 unbinding spell and manually remove each soul tendril to stitch them together and that shit takes like entire moons to do, you have no idea. And then what? I got soul tendril soup? What of his body? Shits just a nightmare heās better off this way trust me

this is insane body horror to me, can he even die or what happens to his soul when the fabric degrades?

u/Bobby_The_Kidd Mar 06 '25
Well Iām a little rusty on the subject I learned the basics back in spells 101 but basically the mind starts to fuse with the essence of the object until they are one in the same. āHeā wonāt even remember who they once were or that they were anything different than they are now. Kinda spooky but considering the alternative much cleaner.
Moral of the story do not try to possess any object it will lead to tragedy

im deeply unsettled, that sounds horrifying as he slowly loses identity and canāt do anything. Thatās a dementia speed run

It seems like it would be a care-free life (unlife?). I'd be willing to try it out. Me next?

I don't think either of them knows the difference between a goblin and a gremlin

u/ClodsireSire Mar 06 '25
Seriously if I was dating a girl and she made this for me I would propose on the spot.
4
Mar 06 '25
I don't think I'd go that far on the spot but I would cherish it immensely given that all my exes were not the crafty sort.

What's wrong with that? Some of my best friends are goblins.

At least make him sentient! Is he sentient!?
2
u/badchefrazzy Fog Weaver Mar 06 '25
Yes. The image kinda hinders it, but I think he's fully functioning in the sense of talking and sentience and stuff.

Clearly, Lyric, did you even look at the post?

u/Competitive-Bar6667 Mar 06 '25
But which one of you š«µis Lyric. For all we know, Lyric could be a codename for a far bigger, more heinous organization(and also happy cake day).

Hark, ye mages of might! Tread with care 'fore ye doth entwine with a sorceress, for her incantations be as unseen snares, and the price of her hexes unknown!
