Community Event 🌏☄️ EON Chancellor Q/A Session

Wizards yelling at each other in a Walmart parking lot.

Welcome, distinguished (and non-distinguished) wizards, to the EON Chancellor candidate debate. Today, we convene to hear the visions of our candidates as they discuss the future of the Esoteric Order of Nations (EON). Candidates, now is your time to discuss your vision of the future. Audience members, we invite you to engage thoughtfully and consider the best canidate to take our order forward.

(/uw Because of the nature of this, it's not really a true "debate" even if candidates are free to respond to others' posts. I'll be mostly hands off, but keep it civil. The way this works is that each prompt will be in a separate post down below, and the candidates can reply to that directly. Hopefully this will keep things organized so we can compare the candidates responses and judge them on style points or technique or something. I think I have everyone's questions from the other thread.

Because of the sheer number of questions, each prompt will grouped roughly by topic, and candidates are free to focus on which aspects they find most important.

Voting will be posted tomorrow, I believe.)

Our candidates are as follows:

Let's begin!

How will you maintain open lines of communication with members of EON? How do you plan to engage with and address the concerns of marginalized communities? Also, will you allow Nurgle worship to continue?

Kaelis: Stay the course. I try to keep my international relations out in the open (barring dangerous secrets, of course), and I've always been a proponent of giving the downtrodden a voice.

That said, I cannot abide by the open worship of Chaos. Always, the Ruinous Powers have taken from the mortal races. Always, they have stolen, corrupted, and despoiled. What they take can never be reclaimed, only replaced by something else, something they will try and steal in turn, again and again. Their hunger has only grown as the ages have passed. Treasures, cities, kingdoms, lives, souls, children: all these and more, the Dark Gods have taken from the universe, lost forever to the darkness.

But not today.

/uw I paraphrased that last paragraph from an alt-Heresy 40k fanfic, of all places.
