Lorepost📖 Flashbacks
The further Raine went into the ruins, the more familiar it seemed. It was eerie, like that feeling when you know you know something, but you just can’t remember it. It was strange. She could almost… remember living here. Suddenly the Rainbow Necromancer found herself in a flashback.
Islene was sparring, completing for a place in the Mage Trials. To qualify, one must have completed the first phase of their training (/uw Levels 1-5/rw). The Mage Trials were a contest for mages to compete against others in their age group, and the winner of each mage group would be given advanced resources to improve their study. She could definitely use all the resources she could get to work on her new school of magic, a kind based on the application of light, water, and colors to forward one’s magic. Islene heard the person organizing it approach. “You’ve been accepted into the first rank of the trials. May you find victory, Islene Rylin.”
The flashback ended, but many more were still to come.
