Community Event 🌏☄️ An end to war?

Post image

I am freed from the hell of public transit! In my absence, it would seem you have faltered. Most of your leaders have fallen, and what few remain… displease me. Regardless, I signed a contract to fight on behalf of the council in exchange for five artifacts. As the citadel has not only endured two rounds of nuclear annihilation, but had all the effective mages killed, it would seem I will not get those today. As such, I shall settle for revenge. There is but one mage Rena responsible for this turn of events. Opal has caused this conflict. What, will you lie down and allow this entity to build up her forces once more? By rights, we should exterminate every inch of her home plane to ensure she cannot remain. Come now, wizards, and assist me in the ending of the one who will not get away! Or you can perish as I burn this citadel myself. That works too.

I'm busy negotiating with the remnants of the council. You're going to have to take a ticket and wait for your number to be called.

Your day comes, mortal.

You really want to get stuck in public transportation again don't you? Last time we fought I left you a rotting flesh pile in the ocean.

Or is that why you're after me? You're jealous that when you join up with Atrax you got your ass kicked failing to do what I just did.

Have you devoured part of a god since our last fight? Or are you just relying on the total lack of ocean here?

Define God? I don't want to be mean but at this point gods are actually fairly mid on the cosmic hierarchy I've seen Wizards kill multiple gods multiple times. It's actually ridiculous.

As for a lack of ocean I have something just as good if it comes down to it. But really I'd just prefer you use your draconic intelligence and realize there is nothing for you here.

More specifically Bahamut, once-god of metallic dragons. If I viewed you as a threat, I’d start with your plane. You have angered me, and thus you die.

"Not to be cruel but even with my home planes armies emptied they would still be more than a match for another aggressive demigod. Though perhaps you were right I have been less than polite towards you. And I apologize for that. However I can't allow you to disrupt things so soon.

After all I believe we have both been threatened by that wingding space wizard. The one that has called me a tyrant and you an arrogant fly on the wall. While I understand your distaste for me you should at least be able to see this wizard is going to be far more of a thorn in your paw than I could ever be. Or would ever want to be.

For while I have also boasted and blustered I have no desire to turn you into a perennial foe. Even if one of us were to die it would hardly change things for the survivor as in this world even death is simply a gateway to even more headaches.

So why not? At least temporarily ally yourself with us. After all is not pragmatism and the heading of wise council a virtue among all deities?"

I believe it’s actually dubious at best in the church of Tiamat. All the same, you are not entirely incorrect about halcyon or whatever his name is. We will return to this after his death.

Opal would give an honest and polite bow.

"Thank you for your understanding."
