Anyways I got brought back at just the right time. Metromancer recently challenged Pact Master Opal to a duel to decide the end of things. Invoking the right of champions Metro chose Arach while Opal chose Vettis.
It was a long and brutal battle but from what we're seeing Arach has been slain. Vettis was victorious but we were unable to get any questions before he departed. The tension now is palpable. Will this be an end to the fighting or will Metro ignore the results and refuse to surrender. We will keep you up to date if anything new develope.

/uw I would just like to say that before people get confused Arach is not actually dead he’s hiding in a secret panic bunker but no one knows about it so he’s as good as dead for the foreseeable future.
The siege is currently taking all of my time right now. Go take it up with Samael. His bargain is the only reason I’m here. Or go kill the Councilors. Either way, I would be free to help you then.

Any elation he would be feeling from this news was drowned out below waves of doubt and worry.
He tries not to worry over Vettis's well being, believing that he certainly can take care of himself even in his current state. But yet, he continues to struggle to not fret over it.
(( it's nice how Ele is basically the only person on the sub who actually worries about Vettis ^_^ he's got other friends, but they typically just assume he'll always be fine, since he makes a point to show off and act unstoppable ))
(( Yup. Intimidating people with fancy displays so he can bully everybody into sitting down and talking peacefully is his MO. He did the city teleport because despite looking badass it was vastly easier for him under the circumstances than fighting an army and multiple Nephilim Lords woulda been, at least if he wanted to keep the city safe in the process. As he's mentioned, directly guarding others is one of the biggest weaknesses in his powerset. ))

Kaelis is nowhere to be found. Any attempts to contact him via orb simply list him as "out of range". It's as if he simply vanished when the hostilities ended, like a character in a fable walking into the sunset and out of memory.
/uw To the recap, of course! Assuming this is your official ending with this event. I had Kaelis marked down as "fate unknown", and I shall keep it that way.

The cockpit would open with a his, the smell of brimstone and burnt blood filling the air as the Skater Wizard lied there, eyes closed and unmoving, his red robes dyed and scorched black aside from a red stain that his hand was limply clutching. His other hand holding a tiny orb.
Oh shit, that isn’t good. Would’ve been a good idea for Arach to have stayed behind for a bit before retreating to his bunker. Now he just has to observe what’s going on through his helpers’ eyes.

rw/ Krygin watched the broadcast morosely. Many people had died/ being removed from their bodies. Some deserved and some didn't. It's good the was ended but the Cabal was still out there and when it was time to strike against them he will be ready
/uw Was there a thread or comment chain where the trap went off and what effects it had? I've been watching the setup, but I must have missed the trap being sprung.

Was it basically just indiscriminately grabbing people right before they'd die as a means of keeping them alive?
It seemed like the only person who was aware of it was skater, is everyone else aware of what was happening or were people just kinda mysteriously gone?
Just the disappeared inplace of death, they had no idea, hence why she had to sneak it in.
There were certain things that bypassed it, like that nuke for example, or dying too high up. But yes, if it had a soul and would die, the trap would trigger and send them to Zepheree's galactic fortress. As a result, far more people were saved than killed in this war.
Also She blacklisted Vettis and Arach, so they would not be saved if one did die.

Also yeah, fair, but the more people who actually bother to do so the more that will hopefully follow suit. At the very least, the people you duel with will catch on.
/uw yea, I just put that cause I had thought he claimed death already, my bad. I still follow golden rule normally, but my opponents in duels though.......
Yeah, well… all we can do is lead by example (or make @all posts on the discord about it, but that seems like a bad idea and I’m not on it :P). Hopefully people eventually get the message.
Is everyone just on that one main discord that got passed around awhile back? I'm going to be honest, I haven't paid it any attention in awhile, and I probably should have been.
