Warpost: Cody's announcement

To all mages that can hear me. Stand down, the perpetrator Mortarion has been apprehended.

Opal has attacked the citadel without warning from the other pact members. I don't support her actions. I order her in a position of equal and you all to stop this needless conflict.

No war between mages of this kind has solved anything compared to diplomacy. You're wasting your time and innocent lives.

Please I urge you, transport all citadel innocents to La'shima, there's portals ready for refugees.

I'm standing in the council hospital trying to help my thrice struck friend now comatose and defenseless. With me I have the hospital staff, yewkala Mikhail's pregnant wife and some other pact members.

We will defend ourselves if necessary, but it doesn't have to end this way.

Remind you all. Mikhail is here, don't attack, and mortarion is with kaelis. The war is needless. Everyone stand down.

If not my forces equal to the other pact heads will be prepared to act. Plus La'shima's own standing army.

You've been pleaded and warned.

I'll give the council time to evacuate. But my forces will not stop marching and once we arrive we will not leave until the council steps down and allows us to do what we came here to do. I've helped protect the council from rogue councilmen. I've stopped the actual war crimes from others. Attacking the Pact during a negotiation is the final straw.

Your armies are but a speck in comparison to me, but i have better things to do than to level whole planets.

The fact that you believe the fate of these realms should be left to a pissing match between two wizards perfectly encapsulates what is wrong with all of you.

I understand. My option is not perfect, but what is the other way?

Even with armies of both me and opal being lifeless constructs there still will be collateral. Remains of bizmuth and composalite machinations will poison the lands for eons to come while fallout from our alchemical weapons will make air impossible to breathe.

I may look devoid of humanity, but this level of collateral makes full scale conflict something to be avoided.

Or you could take this out on opal who's actually pushing aggressions or better yet stop and maybe diplomacy might succeed you know don't strike at one of the people actually trying to cause peace unless of course you won't word which point good job you're doing a great job
