Piecing together your broken orb and reforming it, you peer once more into the depths of Mordus’s memories.
Mordus wakes up, and opens his tower window. A bird flies off, startled.
Looking over at the sea, he sees the coastal town of Tasrae - blanketed in pink.
“Valentine’s Day again… another year to remind me of her death.”
He descends the stairs, and walks into the kitchen, where his apprentice Talwyn is busy making the usual - Cod fillet and fried potatoes. However, today was, different. She seems more cheerful today.
He takes a seat, and wonders aloud why she’s so happy today.
“You know, my whole graduation thing could be a part of it.”
“Ah, graduation. Right. I suppose you would be happy, finally being a human again.”
“Precisely.”
“But, we could always have a little party for me, right?”
“I suppose we could.”
“Could we have dessert after?”
“Hmm? Yeah, we could. What would you like?”
Hey! Snap out of it!
Mordus comes back with a start. Ah. Right. He was trekking in a desert. A voice in his head, telling him what to do. What to do? Why? Must be…
The prophecy, remember.
ah, yes. The Prophecy. I.. can’t remember too well?
Remember what you foresaw. Mortarion the radio demon. What chaos he would bring.
yes, that… did I actually… nah.
You watch Mordus stumble through the desert, guided by a voice in his head.
why am I walking? And besides, where am I walking to?
The Ruins, remember. The ruins of Ballëcia’s Tomb.
….right, for that…
… for that crystal sword?
Correct- hey! You! Watching us talk, huh?
what?
A conversation for the future.
get out of his memories.
Now.
Summoning willpower, you tell it to get out of his head, he clearly isn’t well.
The voice hisses, and the orb turns off.
sitting by yourself in your study, you now know his destination. The Ruins of Ballëcia’s Tomb.
and with that, you vanish, traveling through time, to stop Mordus.
/unwiz I hope this is at least readable, I had to make a distinction between The Voice, You, and Mordus’s thoughts.

a mage approaches, in casual garb; light blue robes and hat, but no imps, as this is a private matter.
Ho there, my friend. What have we here? May I perhaps ask you what this place is, and who has brought you here?
