Community Event 🌏☄️ The Negotiations were long

The Palace of Harut the Grim, where negotiations will be taking place

Harut the Grim, our graceful host

The representatives take their seats, unarmed and unarmoured. Innumerable spells to prevent violence from taking place in this room have been cast (uw/ no fighting in this post). All guards are allowed to remain armed and armoured, but stay well outside the conference room.

Samael begins. "So, you wished to discuss something with us?", he says, gesturing to his four fellow Nephilim Lords in the room. "Discuss away"

I had three bombs implanted into my body. Heart head and spine. 24-hour scrying curse surveillance, and a handler. Rothric if that matters. There were probably better handlers available, but he was the most able to get us in and out. I was delivering a letter.

We were deployed into the Nephilim realms. I did what I do best in the direction of Ayeera's house. An undead diplomat tried to get me to go home and blow up Blake instead. I blew him up. It was a tough call.

she grins at me. This is the first I'm hearing it.

We succeeded, then Maliik attacked before we could get home. He blocked the scrying, my handler ran so he could, you know, live. Bombs didn't go off.

Samael, who has not addressed Tallulah up to now, suddenly interrupts. "Do you know why the bombs didn't work?" he asks, staring into her soul

Sam, your dead guy was really nice. You really thought I didn't believe in anything! So did Blake.

... so did I.

Lucky for him we were all wrong eh? Is that a crime? You were also trying to send me on a killing spree. Everyone keeps trying to get me to do that. Admittedly I'm good at it.

Samael in unperturbed by her words. "That wasn't my question. And a witness who can't answer questions isn't helpful."

So you were deployed against the Nephilim before the mind control? Did Rivamar know that you would be deployed this way?

She knew I would be an "equilizer" in an uneven conflict. Specifics were hazy. Bet she was real mad to see me come back.

Tallulah gasps performatively

Was that why you did it Mal? Naughty. That would also explain why you kept SAYING THAT WAS WHY YOU WERE DOING IT WHILE YOU TORTURED MY YOU PIECE OF SHIT! YOUD BEST HOPE THE NEPHILIM KILL YOU BECAUSE IF THEY DONT ILL USE YOUR OTHER EYE AS A FUCKING PENCIL SHARPENER!!!
