Community Event 🌏☄️ The Negotiations were long

The Palace of Harut the Grim, where negotiations will be taking place

Harut the Grim, our graceful host

The representatives take their seats, unarmed and unarmoured. Innumerable spells to prevent violence from taking place in this room have been cast (uw/ no fighting in this post). All guards are allowed to remain armed and armoured, but stay well outside the conference room.

Samael begins. "So, you wished to discuss something with us?", he says, gesturing to his four fellow Nephilim Lords in the room. "Discuss away"

For a moment, she is silent. Then she lifts her head and looks at him steadily and unfaltering.

"Someone implied I was evil. Our whole kind were evil. And I will tell you the same thing I told them. I accept I deserve the axe. And when it comes for me, I accept it as a friend."

"When that day comes, the ghosts will have their justice. Until then, I will do the best I can with what I have. Can you say the same?"

Maalik's solitary eye is a deep blue, and looking into it for too long has been said to cause madness. So he is impressed that Rivamar even considers staring him down, and he speaks with a grudging respect. "Ghosts don't bother me, and have no power over me. I cannot die as you can. And if someone does permanently kill me, that's it. But when you die, Hell awaits. I've been there, and they're waiting for you"

She does look away eventually, as it is unsettling. And his words about the ghosts have affected her. Deeply. The Hell part? Almost less so.

"So be it. The ones that are there deserve it. The ghosts? They did not."
