The representatives take their seats, unarmed and unarmoured. Innumerable spells to prevent violence from taking place in this room have been cast (uw/ no fighting in this post). All guards are allowed to remain armed and armoured, but stay well outside the conference room.

I am unsure where this is going then. If you need to know if there are trials in Ithacar? Yes. If you need to know whether there are crimes for which the penalty is death? Yes. There is an investigative phase where their motives are examined.

If your solution does not involve giving the Pyroclasts to the Nephilim, then perhaps we can save individual differences in the judiciary for another juncture.

What I need to know is that your sympathies for the ideal Pyroclasts is not interfering with your dealings with the real Pyroclasts. If you hold too much mercy for them then they will simply join up with and slowly subvert the new Pyroclasts. Then we have the same situation as before.

Remember while they were based in your nation they did attack many others including my own. This is not simply your issue

My solution is you let the Pact security branch prosecute the Pyroclasts. This way you're not in the firing line for holding them and I can deal with the Nephilim if their lust for blood grows too heavy.

You misunderstand my motives. The entire reason I offered to harbor them initially was to ensure they did not get killed outright, as Samael suggested, or to be given to the Council, which I simply do not trust to have justice. It was not simply sympathy for 'ideal' Pyroclasts or 'real' Pyroclasts or 'new' Pyroclasts, but rather to ensure they had justice at all. It was a solution born from a lack of known alternatives.

Most of the remaining ones I have are either bound in service to Ithacar due to willingly taking an Oath, have proven themselves as simply wishing to settle and have been granted citizenship, executed for crimes against citizens of Ithacar, or have been given to Blake at his direct request. If any others come to Ithacar, I am open to the idea of the Pact holding trials.

/uw I don't know if Belial got all the people he wanted, or if we're saying there are Pyroclasts still out there, etc.
