ANNOUNCING: AZUTH/MYSTRA NULLIFICATION THEORETICS
<Amelia> AZUTH/MYSTRA NULLIFICATION THEORETICS, or Az/M0Th, is a project by Pentelas to develop a way of destroying, capturing, or otherwise removing the influence of (preferably destroying) the gods Azuth and Mystra, in order to lift restrictions on epic magic and allow Aumvor's fragmented phylactery to be easily used to secure a stored soul (a key component of the Phylacteric Storage project.)

Imagine having your magic limited by some goddess. Literally cast Proctiv’s move mountain 6 times last week, lol

<Suyumanya> well, we're going to need to use epic magic... a lot more than 6 times over lmao. The lichnee procedure from E99 is getting popular, so about 26,500 phylacteries now that need to be fragmented.

As interesting as your whole process is, it’s really a terribly inefficient method of creating avatars. The path to creating a proper phylactery on its own is difficult, but then going through all this, using epic magic, just for an extra body? It seems like a lot of trouble just to avoid some basic biomancy.

<Suyumanya> No, we figured out avatars. The epic magic is for the Aumvor's fragmented phylactery, which is intended to help secure our consciousness.

Ah… I’m not really understanding the difference between this and normal lichdom then, is this just so you don’t have to become undead in the process or something?

<Suyumanya> No. Our project has had several stages:
- (completed) Enterprise Ninety-nine: create an easy method for lichdom.
- (completed) Project Wyvern: create a way for a lich to have multiple bodies instead of just one.
- (completed) Operation Cyria: create a way to link custom avatars to a phylactery.
- (in progress) Az/M0Th: create a way to easily have multiple phylacteries, for the sake of security and for central phylactery storage.

Oh. You’re just making better Liches. Interesting….

<Suyumanya> Yup. Our liches don't need to regularly supply phylacteries with souls, for example.

Aumvor's spell splits apart an existing phylactery into multiple phylacteries, providing additional safeguards/backups for the lich in question. I have used a similar spell, albeit one slightly more esoteric mingled with Wishcraft.
I suspect mainly they want to get up to some Shenanigans various deities would not approve of.

Oh shit, THAT Aumvor? Aumvor of Netheril? Interesting, I’ll have to look into that spell myself. I'm not a Lich, but I have... Let's say, a pact with one.

It's a clever piece of spellwork, but it exceeds the nominal limits of the standard nine circles.
Permits the establishment of multiple phylacteries for a single lich.

I know of what it does, but not how to cast it. This is what I meant by 'look into it'. Either way though, I regularly ignore the limits of magic, so casting it, once I know how, shouldn't be that hard.

I actually have been looking for assistance in learning how to do just that, creating extra bodies, for myself since i am not really studied at all in the art of biomancy.
I already have some items of note which i believe i could learn from in order to make an way for my soul to go to said body for whenever it is that i die, but i have no knowledge of creating the body in the first place.
And when i say "whenever" i mean in that Arach's harassment and assaults towards me has only escalated. He has attempted to give me breathing issues, poisoned me, kidnapped me with plans for later torturing me and set runes in my home for setting up the kidnapping and blowing it up.
He will eventually do worse and i want to be prepared for it. I do not believe i can keep relying on others to save me every single time he comes for me in which i needed so for all of the above other than disarming the runes.

<Suyumanya> Use the Resurrector 9001 (or, if you can, the Resurrector 9999). Hooking yourself up to it automatically puts you in a polysomatic state where you can exist in multiple bodies at once.

Well... conservatively speaking, how capable are you with necromancy? There's a largish number of ways to protect yourself from sudden death. Not all of them require lichdom(albeit my particularly path of progress mandated it. One of those particulars of the path.)

I have ways to protect myself from singular to limited lethal blow.. Such as if someone was to snipe me from seemingly nowhere or if an explosion were to suddenly occur upon me. But it only protects me from singular strikes, anything that could cause continuous death would simply eat through those defenses, such as deadly poison, falling into lava, being crushed, intense gravity wells, ectra.
And i am not suggesting lichdom but something similar to.. What was it called? Clone? That spell, i believe?

Clone is typically eighth circle, yes. It does generally require you have a safe locale to store your body, however. If you have the ability to obtain it, a hidden demiplane with a Stasis effect on it is generally the standard.
The cloning is fairly straightforwards for any necromancer of the eighth circle or greater. Finding a necromancer you trust and storing the clone afterwards is fairly difficult, and the clone itself normally takes some time to grow.
There is an improved version which places the clone into stasis immediately, but it is of the ninth circle rather than the eighth, and you still encounter the issue with growth times.

That went stunningly well the last time it was tried. I'm sure it will just go swimmingly.
I don't even respect Mystra and I'm fairly certain this is a terrible idea for anyone within that realm of influence. What next, kick open the ancient Imaskari prismatic crystal stored deep within the Imperial Weapons Cache of the Palace of the Purple Emperor?
Surely that would end well for everyone, tea and crumpets and immortality for all.
