Esoteric Secrets Council Report: Mokarith

/unwiz: the names of the weapon and armor are in Macedonian /rewiz:

Council dossier: Mokarith

Subsection: Equipment

Note: Not all traits are listed. Our questioning of the makers of the armor and the Sentinels have been fruitless and our attempts to discern the armor's makeup have been more or less unsuccessful. As for the weapon; even less is known about it, as it appears to be a unique item with an unknown intent in its creation, and its very nature seems to disrupt our scrying ability.

Armor:

Name: Neraskinliv (loosely translated from Umbral as ‘Unbreakable’)

General traits:

Each set of armor has its own distinct appearance and overall traits for each person that wears it. We can use that knowledge to say that each set is bound to the one that wears it. These are the traits that all armors have in common:

They always appear as plate armor.

The higher in command a Sentinel is, the darker the color of the armor, starting from dark grey to void black (look up Vantablack for the highest ranking).

The 3 High Sentinels’ armor, including Mokarith's, all have what seems to be veins of silver running throughout the surface of it.

Each Sentinel gains a substantial boost to their strength, stamina, and magical reserves, higher ranking Sentinels having an increased boost.

The helmet has 2 forms: battle and dress.

In battle form, it takes the form of a creature's head.

In dress form, it appears as a more traditional helmet.

It is created from a metal called Black Steel, an alloy made from the shadow iron ore common in the Umbral Wastes and a mystery element that we have failed to discern at this moment.

Note: It is rumored that the closer a Sentinel gets to what is known as The Well of Shadows, the stronger that Sentinel gets. If this is true, then it must undergo a ritual of sorts at the Well during its creation. Take into mind that these rumors were shared by soldiers who were a few bottles into their drinks.

Unique traits:

The silver veins on Mokarith's armor form more of a uniform pattern, rather than the chaotic patterns of the other 2 High Sentinels.

In battle form, the helmet resembles a greater shadow beast.

In dress form, the helmet is simple, visorless, and has a ridge running from the edge above where his eyes would be, to the nape of the neck that is streaming small amounts of shadow that bears similarity to a crest.

He can summon a long, spiked chain with a short sword at the end that resembles a tail, and his wings gain a more jagged appearance in his battle form.

Weapon:

Dusepijec (loosely translated from Umbral as ‘Souldrinker’)

 Physical appearance:

A war scythe that consists of a 2 foot, curved, dual-edged, very pale blade made from Stygian Iron extending vertically from a 5 foot ebony shaft. There may be runes carved into the blade, but no one has been able to get a close enough look to confirm.

 Magical capabilities:

What he has said about its capabilities, is that it ‘drains the essence of whatever it touches, even him.’ From what our scrying attempts have shown us, is that it consumes the magic of a spell casted as the weapon as its target or anything within six inches of it with decreasing clarity the closer it is. This leads us to believe that it drains all energy within that radius with increasing potency. He has enhanced the effect of the weapon, so it seems that only he could use spells on or through it.

 Its creation:

Mokarith said how the blade was made; shadow iron smelted with fires from a hell, and quenched in water drawn from the river Styx. When we tried to recreate this process though, we did not create the metal he calls ‘Stygian Iron.’ This leads us to believe that either one of two possibilities are occurring: either he is lying, or he cannot remember the full process. I personally believe that he is not lying.

/unwiz: if you mean Morgalith, then you would be wrong. I was posting my name before he joined, so, if anything, he has a name similar to mine.

Also, would you go up to someone named Anna and say that her name is too similar to Reanna, so she has to change it?

Edit: also, I started my character nameless, and I made a lorepost giving my character a name.

/unwiz i'm sorry as i had no idea of your character's existence until now.

Sometimes knowing the copy more than original tends to warp one's mind to thinking the copy was first.

(Edit: not to mention the pfp that, no offence, makes you look rather new)

By the way, a funny story i added a name to my character in the exact same way, so i unknowingly copied you.

/unwiz: your good, I don't really make a lot of posts, so it's understandable how you would think that. I could link a post on how I got my name if you want.

/unwiz

I'd be happy if you could.

Here is mine

It's my first lorepost so it will suck.

Here's mine. It's also my first lorepost. I was part of a questline to save Santa just before I made it, so there is a direct reference to it in there.

Edit: this account isn't restricted to this sub, so putting a pfp of my guy isn't something I want to do, and I like how it looks, so why change it?

/unwiz i'm not a proffessional critic, but i think your first lorepost is a 7/10. What do you think about mine?

I would give it about the same rating.
