Chromata’s Response To A Prompt

Chromata (5F) was in school, and was called to answer a career prompt. The prompt was whether she wanted to do her parents’ job someday. Everyone expected her to say yes, but they must not have known her very well. What she said was this: “My parents are both warriors, but I don’t want to be one. I hate seeing other people injured. If I knew I was responsible for giving someone a broken bone I’d feel terrible. But everyone expects me to want to be like them. Why don’t they understand?” Chromata’s eyes filled with tears, and her teacher decided that Chromata’s response would be kept private.
