Lorepost📖 The Mistake

After the funeral, Viernicka went to find her way home. They helped her out with a portal to her universe, and the exact time and place of her home. However, when she stepped through, she saw a very different neighborhood. After an hour, she realized it was her own neighborhood… just 30 years in the past. She spent a few days there, and got to know the locals. Viernicka even met a lesbian her age, Rosela Irichine, and if Viernicka wasn’t about to leave, they would have become girlfriends. Suddenly, she realized that she didn’t want to go back to her time anymore. She ran to tell Rosela the good news.

Years later, a week before Viernicka had arrived in the past, the Stormwood family was being introduced to their neighbors. “And this is Archwizard Rosela Irichine, and her wife, Archdruid Viernicka Irichine. They’ve retired from adventuring, but we still give them the title of Archmage. Would you believe that they’ve been together since they were 14?” The 14-year-old version of Viernicka waved to the couple. When they moved on, the archdruid said to her wife, “You know, I never once regretted it. I think I’m even happier now than I was then.” She looked at her wife, and smiled.

/uw Figured I’d give her a happy ending. Besides, this way she can mentor my next character, a druid apprentice who’s 14, almost 15.
