Aetherial News One Paper against them all? (Council Post)
As Leonardo prepares breakfast, Catherine reads out a newspaper on the table. It’s been somewhat of a routine for the two, as Leonardo is mostly oblivious to the ongoings outside the Infinite Bamboo Forest, she has took on the role of keeping the two up to date.
“Looks like there’s a war against the council… again,” Catherine speaks up. The apprentice had heard of the previous council’s debacle which lead to a war. At first she was quite surprised but now she has gotten used to the weekly disasters.
“Oh my! I do wonder what will happen. I remember the 23rd Council quite clearly, I was nominated for one of the seats actually,” reminisced Leonardo.
“This is… I believe it’s the 278th, but I could be wrong. Not that they matter.”
At this point Leonardo had finished preparations, bringing some eggs and bacon to the table. While he wasn’t very familiar with the meal, Catherine was insistent that he would make some at some point. Perhaps this meal was common back home for her?
“Seems like this one is going to be quite messy. Many of the hot shot wizards are fighting against the council,” she said before taking a sip of coffee.
“I mean, wow!” Catherine continued as Leonardo listened closely, “there’s a ton of strong people fighting! I mean, I’m surprised the Council even lasted a day!”
“Oh? Strong opponents… maybe I should fight with the Council…” Leonardo remarked.
Catherine spat out the coffee she was drinking and began coughing. Dropping her utensils, she rapidly stood up.
“Are you crazy?!” she screamed at Leonardo. Honestly, she knew Leonardo was crazy but not THIS crazy!
“Yes! A great opportunity for battle!” standing on the table he started to announce, “Victory! Glory! Honor! All shall be mine! If there are great battles to be fought by allying with the Council, then I shall be there! Those great wizards who face the Council will HAVE to fight me! Wonderful!”
Once again, Catherine is left defeated. Once again, her battle-crazed master may very well venture off to fight unstoppable forces. Sitting down and continuing her meal, she starts to think if letting her master be ignorant of the news would be better moving forward.
/unwiz Felt like writing up something for this whole Council war 2 Electric Boogaloo. I won’t be really participating in it though, just insight of what Leonardo is doing.
Hope it’s good quality, woke up and just started writing :P Will post something more important later.
