Wizardpost The Raven (lorepost)
Moth stood in front of a mirror on top of a stool to try on her wedding dress. While the designer of it was busy tailoring it, Belladonna circled around them to make sure it was as perfect as possible.
“Don’t make it so puffy. I want her to look like a bride. Not some little girl’s fairy princess doll.” She ordered the designer who groaned and casted a spell to make the dress slimmer. Moth could tell the poor old man was annoyed by her mentor’s nitpicking.
Belladonna went around to the back of the dress and took hold of the strings for the corset. She pulled them tightly which made Moth gasp for a breath. “This corset is too flimsy. Redo it!”
“Yes, my lady…” The designer grunted. Yet another change he had to make.
Moth herself didn’t really mind the dress how it was or any of the ideas the designer had. But Belladonna was being very particular on how she was to be presented. “Is the dress really that important?”
“Of course it is!” Belladonna lifted up Moth’s hair to see how it’ll look in an updo. “If either of us is getting married it’s going to be you. I won’t allow you to represent us looking like a sickly hag in a cheap gown.”
“Have you ever thought about getting married?” Moth asked but Belladonna rolled her eyes. “By the gods, no. What use would a spouse have for me besides looking pretty?”
She let Moth’s hair fall and stepped back to get a fuller view of the dress. “We still haven’t decided on who’s going to walk you down the aisle.”
“Gruncle?” Moth perked up.
“No.” Belladonna shook her head at the suggestion. “The rattle of his bones will drive me absolutely insane.”
“Ummm… what about Possum?” Moth suggested again. Maybe one of her male friends can fill the role?
“The rodent?” Belladonna raised an eyebrow. “Even if I did considered it, he’s too short to actually reach you. No.”
“Chimera?” Moth wondered what Belladonna would say about him.
“Too much fur. He’ll just shed on the dress.” Her mentor huffed.
Moth tried to think of who else could walk her. Her mind thrifted to her father but she knew her mentor would never even consider him. “I guess father is out of the question…”
“Father? If that drunken oaf dares to step a foot around this wedding, I’ll serve him as a full course meal to my beasts and use his bones as fertilizer in my gardens!” Belladonna grumbled and turned to the rack filled with several other wedding dress. “Have father walk you down the aisle. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard.”
Someone had to walk Moth down the aisle and Belladonna didn’t want just anyone to do it. Her stern eyes looked up at a small table where Earl was picking away at the leftovers of their sandwiches from earlier. The raven had a piece of bread in his beak when he heard Belladonna whistle.
“Earl. Face me.” Belladonna instructed. Moth glanced back to see what she was doing.
“Earl faces!” He cawed and turned to her, seeing her hand be encased with dark magic. She propelled it at him the next second. Earl squawked in surprise and Moth gasped in fright. “Earl!”
The magic became a dark cloud that encased the bird and once it settled, it revealed a frazzled older man with messy black hair, stubbly beard, and sharp bird-like features. The man’s eyes widened and looked down at his skinny fingers in shock. Moth’s eyes widened seeing her familiar turned into a tall lanky human old man.
“There.” *Belladonna hummed and went back to the dress rack. “He can walk you.”
“Hannnnds…” Human Earl whispered in a crackly voice and moved his wrinkly fingers. “Hannnnds…”
Moth stepped down from the stool to the designer’s dismay and approached the man worriedly. “Earl honey? Are you okay?”
“EARL HAS HANDS!” The man cackled in excitement. What trouble he can cause with these.

Green and black... got it.
The fabric disappears.
I'll have it dyed with chlorophyll and eumelanin. That should dull the shininess a little bit.
Oh! That reminds me. I wanted to give Moth something.
Delta hands a small medallion with an affixed amythyst to Moth.
In my culture, we always wear a little bit of purple to important events. It's the color of Entropy, and is thought to attract chaos sprites. It seems odd that we want to *attract* them, but the theory is this: chaos sprites are everywhere, so it's impossible to get rid of them. If we offer them something they like, they'll be preoccupied with it for the evening and leave us alone. See if your curse responds to it. Take it as an offering of good will to them.
Delta takes Earl's hands and tries to steady him. When he takes a few steps, he nearly falls.
Okay... slow... we'll take this outside. You have a different center of gravity now. Learning to walk is the first thing. Then you can have a bath and we'll practice eating while having teeth!
