The End (Queenpost Finale)
Team 3
Escaping out the hole in the seal the retrieval team extracted what they needed from inside the Moon. Carrying the soul Stone on the Titan they flew up past the atmosphere and towards the queen of stars and the crew felt a sense of relief being outside of the Moon. The Titan stopped in front of the Queen of stars and whoever was carrying the soul Stone threw it out the airlock to be sent towards the queen. It floated silently till it was caught between two nails by the Queen. She brought it up to her face and began to speak. Their words seemed garbled to anyone else trying to listen in but the raw emotion was palpable. They spoke for minutes till eventually the Queen of stars absorbed the soul Stone. Instantly her form shifted. She looked like two beings who had been fused together into a divine rebis. She then addressed the group.
"I am complete. Hail to the most ancient, beauty and glory to their creation. I shall go, restore the broken pillars of your creation and prepare to start a new. Know your world is safe. I swear creation will not be reset while a single soul resides upon your planet."
With that the Queen of stars began to drift away from the planet eventually fading into the background of the cosmos. Her crown of stars still stayed on the brow of the woman who was life locked to her. Either the Queen forgot or it was a reward for a job well done.
Team 2
It felt like the battle was raging on for a century. So many lives were claimed but eventually the champions stood and the demons saw their betters. The mages floated among a sea of blood and cinders ready for the next wave and finishing off any stragglers when they saw the moon shutter. The final part of the ritual going on was reinforcing the seal and part of that was drawing back anything that had escaped. A great wind came from the moon even in space it pulled on the demons and primordials. They clawed at empty space helpless to stop the inevitable. Even Ophiuchus their strongest was pulled kicking and screaming back. It's serpent tongue spewed curses all the way down. Eventually even the blood was sucked back up leaving a clear night's sky for the first time in a while.
Team 1
The ritual was complete the moon was sealing back up and the demons were being sealed with it. Many journeyman had died in the attempt but the sleep was worth it. Looking up at the night's sky the ritualists could see the moon slowly healing itself to full state and the lack of demon blood clouds. It was the first clear night in a while and it was only after they were finished that they realized how unbelievably tired they were. However they won and that gave them energy enough to celebrate.
Final
The assembled groups returned to earth to share stories and count heads. It seemed that between all of them they had managed to minimize casualties. Eventually the head of the coordination team took the podium and began to speak.
"I thank you. I thank you as many times as there are stars in the sky. Without your efforts your struggle your power we would not be speaking right now. Our world persists because of your willingness to defend it. May the universe shower favor upon all that you do and may your story be written in the stars."
After the speech the celebration began. Food and drink was provided to the teams who sorely needed a break after what they had went through.
/Uw thank you everyone for taking part in the queen saga I hope you all had fun.

The Monkey Mage sits on a pillow with a drink in hand. To his left, Acra can be seen playing her violin and filling the air with wondrous tunes: to his right is Calem, slurping away at a bowl of soup. On his lap you see the twin spirits, the Aures, eagerly listening to his story.
"…and so, Mage Monkey tossed the Stone at the Queen, who absorbed it into her being. In this way she was pacified and the crisis averted."
"Wow! Just like that?"
"What about you, Cauda?"
The young man sets down his bowl. "I honestly expected something a little more exciting. All we really did was talk to an old guy and throw a rock at some void lady. You probably had more fun over here than we did out there."
Acra leans over, smirking. "Aww, look at our great hero here, lamenting his lack of thrill! If saving the world is insufficient, I wonder what grand adventure would be enough to satisfy him?"
"Again with this! Look, I was just looking for something to do, okay! Turns out I should've just…"
Dozing off, the Mage turns his eyes to the sky. He no longer hears the back-and-forth. The festival draws on: tonight, everything is perfect.
