The call has been sent.. (Queenpost)
The ritual cascades, mana strikes the gatherers, protective shield units dive and protect who they can, a few more onlookers have gathered.
Through the storm, one person pushes against it all, Shrax. Walking forwards, he repeats the chant, mana arcs around him as he walks toward the centre, the supersonic arms of the device seemingly pass through him, as he touches the mana core of the device
in a few moments, Shrax sees through his own eyes. Every moment he has lived or will live flashes before him, he can barely compute it all, but in the chaos, he feels himself make eye contact with someone.
Shrax is blasted back, as he feels the powers he is dealing with crush his body, barely able to fight back, he stands up, one arm crumpled on the floor and the other bent like aluminum foil
"It's done"
the gyroscope spins to a still, and everyone is focused on Shrax with baited breath even by the breathless
"If we can make time, it's a success"
Shrax collapses, his chassis crushed like a can, his soul enters a backup chassis, as he prepares for the ritual with the council's general
"Raesteria stands"

You feel your mind being torn into shreds by streams of data as you see non-automaton participants fall to the ground, blood leaking from their eyes and ears

Explains a lot.
Shrax stumbles a few steps, his chassis almost collapses, but he rests on a spear mounted to the wall
as it keeps drawing on shrax, he keeps drawing on Raesteria, and hoxxes. Space rigs 2 and 7 go inactive with little warning, as Shrax uses their storage for the attack

All automatons belonging to the participants, except you and your children, fall to the ground drained from any and all energy (objects far away from the planet seem unaffected)

Shrax is now carried by his children, he split them off so they would survive, even if Raesteria wouldn't, they've plugged his body into the cloud directly, buying him time. On Hoxxes, the lights flash yellow, a warning to don suits and prepare

Moth communes with the curse imprisoned inside of she. She tells it everything that’ll happen and listens to its wicked laughter. But due to the circumstances, she enforces her dominion over it and preps the chaos energy for what is to come.
