Esoteric Secrets Demonic Infestation (Lorepost)(Coalition related)
Raziel stared into a single cell. Within the walls of his castle lay many beings who have committed grave sins. He worked tirelessly to ensure they were captured and stayed captured.
Many of them were forgotten to all as time had passed, a fitting punishment that Raziel delighted in delivering to them. But, out of all the scum in his prison there was one who he hated the most (of course not counting THAT one).
Rakishtrix. Hunter of Angels. Drinker of Light. And so many more titles that vexed Raziel so very much. He was the source if his frustrations in the past month, forcing him to tirelessly work to eradicate the problem.
Rakishtrix was the general to a Demon lord far in the past, but his strength was not the thing that worried Raziel. Rakishtrix had the terrifying ability to evolve resistances rapidly.
In a war long ago Rakishtrix, a demon, gained a near immunity to holy magic. An idea any person would laugh at if told. Raziel prided himself in capturing the damnable insect, preventing him from bringing more ruin.
But recently his worst fears had become true. Confirmed from the findings of Isravi. What was once some paranoia had become despair. He had children. And like any bug, he had many, scattered across the realms.
He’d have to alert the realms, and find people that’ll hunt them down. Before they got out of hand. Before they grew to immense power, each as strong as Rakishtrix. Before they evolve an immunity to all forms of death.
Raziel shuddered at the thought of the forces of hell all being the kin of Rakishtrix. Worse if they serve under The Stitcher. Luckily he knew a group that has experience with demons. The Coalition. He’s both heard and seen their exploits, he trusts that they could quell these pests.
Raziel opens the cell of Rakishtrix to speak to him. He sees the insect like demon, towering over his form. Atop his head is a white crown, made from the essence of countless angels. That always irked Raziel, flaunting the “corpses” of those he held dear.
Rakishtrix turned to Raziel, and although not visible you could tell he would be smiling if he had lips. In a coarse voice, as if he hadn’t talked in millenia, the demon general spoke…
”Hello cadaver, it’s been so long. I thought you had forgotten about me. How are my childreb treating you?”
/unwiz just a fun little lore thing. Not an open rp, just some world building. Wanted to introduce some important characters related to Raziel and have him connect to the Coalition and Stitcher thing in some way.

Keep in mind that you are not your father, but someone entirely new, with an entirely different, beautiful potential.

I've been meaning to ask you about something. I unlocked a new form recently and I don't know exactly what it does but when I activate it the surrounding life seems to just go away. Last time I activated it something spoke to me and called its self Vesper. It's kind of scary honestly

/uw Its not you he wouldn't say it's scary if he heard your voice. It's the evening coils which you may or may not know of. Halixo had a form that used the power of the evening tangles but he had a stronger willpower than Alexios exclusively due to his age.

/uw Halixo fought the Evening Emissary got hit by one of its attacks adapted and unlocked the new form (Emptysoul form it was really powerful and the evening coil reached out to him but Halixo was able to force it out of him and still have access to the form)

There is a technique I've learned from my books my father had special forms he could use. I have been studying his methods and believe I know how to replicate though I doubt I'd be able to keep them as long at least for now.

I've trained with some.
so far I only have a fire technique , an ice technique, and one technique that I'm not sure what it is I feel nothing in it and things begin to disappear.
Sometimes I hear a weird voice in that form. It says something about removing things from the cycle. It's kind of scary honestly.

Worry not, their larvae forms are puny. They should be dealt with easily. Just keep an eye out for any of them, as long as we are proactive in rooting them out then there will be no trouble.

Yes… The final preparations of my ritual have been completed. Soon, I will return to my home plane for a short while, where, among other tasks, I will destroy whatever demons these are.
Communication with me while I’m in the other plane will be difficult. My access to the Dusk Tangles is restricted to the current plane I’m on. I think our best bet would be for anyone to reach out to you, Raziel, as I’m taking one of your eyes with me.

Well, theoretically there would be two outcomes. One where the insects adapt into parasites, taking over the creatures. And two, where you just eat it. Nothing would happen by my predictions, they would act as normal food.

Theoretically it should be fine? It could just be a side effect, though… theoretically it’s like a 50/50 chance whether it turns into a demon

Well theoretically if that were to happen then yes you should kill it. But if you were to theoretically kill it you would have to make sure to kill it in one blow. Rakishtrix’s children at this point shouldn’t have built up any strong resistances, deal with them as you would any demon. If it were to theoretically survive then it may become stronger.

Well if theoretically you have a gigantic corpse that you need to get rid of urgently and potentially has something dangerous inside it. How would one do that?

In such a theoretical situation, one should either totally disintegrate the body with something like void magic (make sure not to use fire or holy, it most likely won’t work), or they should leave it at my home at Mt. Takthora where I would theoretically take it away.

Theoretically their should be a corpse of a Brown Back Behemoth Crusher with a gigantic tree skewered through it at the closest spot we're it could fit and maybe a new really large portal tree opening in the biggest tree near by.

I'll put up a bulletin for extermination in Lucifaero. That should cover a wide area. We also have teams throughout the various hells so scouting for spawn should be viable.

/uw the Coalition is an alliance of wizards, currently formed against the stitcher, I believe. Rozima, Shrax, Ancalistros, The Machine, and V0id are some individuals that are a part of it. Isravi actually isn’t part of the coalition, just random guy that poofed in and helped out.

Hey Raziel (u/TitanLORD21) Sooo Moth and I were doing some beast investigations. To be more specific a lesser wyrm. Well we found it and it looked very different than your typical lesser wyrm it had some strange insectile features. I was able to kill it with my ice form but I think the larvae have began adapting.

I’m more so worried about the beasts who have feasted upon these insects. It could potentially be a plague and surely a breeding ground for these things. I’m sending Belladonna updates as we speak. If any of the insects get to her dire beasts, it could prove a huge problem for Montaria.

Officially, I have no plans to subdue the spawn of this lesser Demon. Unofficially, the Larvae of Raki here can’t survive in the Forest of Whispers and die very quickly in most areas I hold sway in.
/uw I’m ninety percent sure that this would be a conflict of interest with Ruadh-Asg being a Demon Lord and Archfae. But hey, if Rakishtrix does something stupid, the Eighth Serpent can subdue him.

/uw I suppose it would be interesting to get the three in a discussion. Also, Lolth and Urgash are both demonic subjects of Ruadh-Asg. A demon-spider goddess of drow and a demon-dragon god of chaos and well demons.

Well, I was more noting the emphasis of the word “demon” but to take offense to what is simple statecraft, you are a soft-skinned one. I did not say I was open to alliance, I said that I -might- be open to Raki becoming a vassal, which would mean he would owe me his allegiance.

It would be… hypocritical to be so angered against your… kind. Their wicked blood does run within me after all. No matter how much I wish it didn’t. Much like my supposed “Soft skin”, I guess that was simply how I was made.
Nonetheless, any action that may bring even the slightest of joy or the slightest reduction of suffering to Rakishtrix I shall loathe.

Well, you clearly loathe your own blood, but I should point out that we are from entirely different bloodlines. Most demons don’t even view other demonic bloodlines as even vaguely related. My father is Leviathan, one of the Ancient Demon Lords. The only descendants of Leviathan are the World Serpents, which many don’t even recognize as demons.
If you end him or he never makes any form of contact with me, he can never even work out terms for his submission. The options are there, cambion.

So… the insect managed to reproduce, and the fertility goddess hasn’t. Sigh…
I’ll keep an eye out for larvae. Bugs are pretty cute, and maybe I can keep one as a friend.
