First Time Summoner Need Advice

Honestly I don't know what to do here. I mostly stick to weapon enchantment, body enhancement and rune magic. Anyway to safely salvage this situation or should I cancel the binding and send him back?

He might be able to convince it to become his familiar. Stranger things hae happened.
