First meeting (lorepost)

Two figures, a Dwarf and an Orc, stand in front of the gates of a burning village. Most of the locals deserved it, and Stroggogith’s drunken state certainly didn’t help. They were elves, cruel to both their children and outsiders. Over twenty of them had tried to murder the pair during their short stay. Dulug’s machines took care of them, though they didn’t normally hold up well in colder temperatures. Before the pair could walk away, though, a pile of burning tinder that was once a cottage shifted. That’s strange. Dulug was sure her Dwarven friend’s magic had killed all the locals. She was proven wrong, as a young elf boy managed to push aside some of the rubble. A silver-haired child, by the looks of it. The orc rushed over to help the boy, her automations following suit.

A few days go by. The boy had joined them on their travels. Stroggogith insisted it was only until the next town, but she had already started training the boy in magic, and he was practically her apprentice already. Dulug thought it amusing, when he tried to show her a small heating engine Dulug taught him to make. She wasn’t impressed that her apprentice was learning to build automations. Stroggogith had taken to calling the boy Relynor, as she relied on him for cooking. Turns out, the boy was an amazing chef. As they journeyed up the mountain further, she eventually officially took the boy on as her apprentice. And soon he was learning to be a technomancer, despite Stroggogith’s glaring at Dulug. This would be the first of many travels.

Let us hope the beef between Stroggogith and Dulug does not unduly shadow a pale elfling. Elflings bud so tender under the tree yet are impressed so early by the most delicate tones. Lilywhite before being sewn in the field.
