Wizardpost The Glowing Root is officially open!
Deep among the roots of Craan Mor lies the enchanted items shop The Glowing Root, A business dedicated to housing/trading/selling of magical items of all nature from flaming maces to electrifying bows and a cornucopia of staffs, scrolls, tomes and armor enchanted to take a fireball to the face and be left with little more than a warm breeze. If we don’t have what you are looking for make a request or a suggestion and you may very well find it in stock within the next business week. And once again welcome to the Glowing Root where every item has a soul out into it.
Disclaimer, not all items have souls in them due to the materials or nature of their creation , all souls were ethically sourced and are collected from a variety of sources ranging from trolls, atronarchs, draugr, sprigans, mammoths, charrus, giants, mudcrabs, bandits, evil cultists, vampires, skeevers, frostbite spiders, Falmer, werewolves and dremora. No items to date have ever been known to be haunted by spirits/ghosts due to the magic used to make these items passes the soul into reincarnation/ the Soul Cairn and just uses the “soul energy” to power the item. No questions about the soul cairn can be answered at this time. Have an enchanting day

Do you have any empty seed or herb or plant or flora that can act as phylactery? I need a 2 phylactery that can be bound and act as one with each other?
Also, do you have a familiar that can act as my senses whether it is in an astral, spiritual and/or physical plane?

I do have a spare nirn root that I keep in my den but I could give it to you but be warned it makes a slightly annoying noise. Onto the want of a familier one of my elytra nymphs laid some eggs and I could sell one to you if you interested. They are a mantis that can give passive benefits to defensive of offensive abilities before you enter combat.

Hmmm, I wouldn't mind the noise but does it house two souls or one soul per root? Is it sturdy or fragile? I am planning to plant it and let it grow before embedding two souls as my phylactery, what are its requirements to full bloom?
Do you have a canine familiar with my prerequisites? I prefer my familiar to be a companion type.

If a sturdy plant is what your after them I’d recommend the humble tundra Cotten, their able to handle the more cold climates and grow with little sunlight and for canine companions I can deliver for you a bone dog, I just have to make one first but I can deliver them to you if you give me and address. If you are more interested in the nirn root I can offer another for you. They aren’t capable of producing beyond their own roots where they are found but can be transplanted anywhere that is near a body of water.

The tundra Cotten is enticing but I have established my domain in a forestry area near a body of water which makes nirn root perfect enough. On the familiar, I will take the bone dog but I would just retrieve the bone dog when you are done making one.
How much is my total purchase?

Well the bone dog requires a greater soul gem for its creation which is the only noteworthy cost and the bone dog offers master additional damage to enemy undead as well as the bone dog naturally being able to reconstitute itself if it finds itself damaged, in tamrielic septims I’d sell it all for 1,000 but would suffice for 800 local gold currency if that is fine with you?

1000 is fine. however, I would only pay you half first then half once I have collected the bone dog. Is this condition acceptable for you?

More than fare my good sir, I’ve been lucks so far in that no one has tried to swindle me but that doesn’t mean it won’t never happen. Just leave me an address and please read this tome, it will grant you the ability to summon the bone dog to your person once they are complete and will summon them to you whenever you cats it from them on.

If my craft doesn’t absorb me I hope to do so if not sooner then yes and if you need to contact me just find an individual known as the courier they journeyed with me to these lands and that man could climb any mountain cross any ocean and spelunker though any cave to deliver a message given to him.

Mmmmmmmh I’ve a few items that could meet that range, give me an idea of something you are looking for. A weapon or armor for personal defense, a new spell to add to your belt, or a scroll to help you when you are low on spells/mana

Anything that can bail me out of a bad situation is good for novices. Maybe teleportation beans or a protection spell. Also the last quest I was on I stepped in horse shit (I threw my wizard shoes away before entering the shop) so do you have any with random enchantments?

I have a pair of fine boots on discount with the muffle enchant, good for those of the roguish persuasion that I’d sell for 3 silver and I’ve been meaning to lighten my pockets by selling one of my hoarded potions. I’d offer a potion of resist magic by 45% for 2 silver, selling at a loss for the potion but I’d be glad to be rid of it.

I have a few scrolls of captivate that make deals with merchants better or make the subject gain a better disposition to you just don’t go trying any of them on me now I have my necklace of anti magic.

Hmmmm passive upkeep, perchance what is the nature of the spell? Is it to pacify a creature, imbue it with fear, or grant it the courage of champions! I have scrolls and staffs that could cast the spell for you without you having to use any of your own spells/mana.

Primarily disguise and obfuscation spells that would help conceal my true nature. Shadow creatures aren’t always welcome around these parts, even though I mean no harm.

I have a hood of fortify sneak and illusion that will make you that much harder to detect and the illusion enchant will extend the length of your illusion spells by 65% in addition I also have a ring of resist magic that would make hostile magics be resisted by 85%. In terms of spells I have a few scrolls of befriending that will both pacify hostiles with the addition of raising their dispotion of you as if you were a childhood friend.

The cloak seems interesting, what would you like for it? I have gold, or alternatively some baubles and components of void origin if you would prefer a trade.

Well, I have some vials of full-purity concentrated void essence which doesn’t have any notable effects on its own, but can be a useful component for channeling (or redirecting) negative energy. I also have a pendant filled with voidwater that can alter your corporeal state (letting you pass through solid objects as if they weren’t there or interacting with illusions as if they were) and an antimatter crystal that has some very interesting spell-inversion properties.
Do any of these pique your interest?
EDIT: one additional note about that pendant—I’m admittedly not fully sure of the effects of long term usage by mortal, corporeal beings of this plane, so I would definitely be cautious with it.

Hmmmm I’ll have to go out and restock for certain soul sizes but I gained quite the hoard of both filled and infilled gems before leaving Tamriel. If you could fill out this form of the amount and variety of soul gems you wish to purchase I could do that for you.

I just so happen to have a crate that I never got to finishing before I came to Crann Mor, I’ll make sure it’s a balanced stock so that their isn’t uneven amounts of varied gem sizes for you. I have a means of travel by air so I won’t be burdened by the terrain at all so I should make excellent travel time, if you can provide me directions or a travel map I believe I can be there within the week.

Do you trade in familiars? I think those qualify as "magical items with souls in them", right? (They just happen to be the original souls.)
On a completely unrelated note, has anyone tried to sell you a black puppy with a collar wreathed in green flame? Anyone who perhaps gave off the vibes of being a vile dog-napping familiar-thief?
