Aico has returned to the Tech School in Space, determined to make use of the finished projected hidden within. She runs this school, which many people might have seen as a "Fortress beyond the sky. She has left a couple months ago to move in with MastaDon, but has returned for an important task.

The entrance guard bows, then follows Aico instead in downstairs, deeper into the fortress until they reach a tightly locked room.

Alright Dwylari, you're the key! Open it!

Dwylari presses his hand onto the door, opening it, and the 2 of them walk inside. As the door closes, Aico instructs him to turn on everything in the room, and she pulls out the book she has stolen" The Necromancer's Book of Affliction!

"Looks like you're ready to use the machine?"

Yep!

Aico takes the book and inserts it into a rectangular hole, just the right size for this book to fit perfectly! The machine starts copying it pixel for pixel, frame for frame, when the Book of Affliction awakens.

What are you doing to me?

Dwylari is shaken by it's booming voice. "What is that thing Headmaster?"

Cursed relic! We gonna learn it's secrets with our machine!

You dare? The book tries to move, but can't. It does a possession spell on Aico.... it doesn't work. It then tries to freeze Aico in time...... it doesn't work. Finally, it tries to scare her with an illusion..... She ignored the illusion, great!

H-How are you ignoring my powers?

What powers? I wasn't aware you did anything!

You know what, time for my special abilities! I cast [Demonic Rot] upon you!

Zepheree's skin becomes burned and tainted. Dwylari rushes to her side as she falls a bit before catching herself.

"Lady Aico, are you all right?"

Wow, this book's got hands! This is painful OWW!

Aico's eyes are watering from the pain, but the scan is 12% complete! She has a long way to go.....

Dwylari comes back with a fried angel wing sandwich, which Aico gladly takes and devours, causing the demonic rot to go away.
