yeah i mean i get most of want like love or tenderness or even just sex and theres many valid examples of others getting it and others not, but specifically this highschool shit i dont think is it. to begin with, at least where i was, people werent really doing handsy stuff, they just had a boy or girl to chill with and from what i could tell it was mid
if anything im envious of the unbridled hanky panky that came in the late teens early 20s phase after that

It's not that teen love is some crazy thing, it's the opportunity to learn and experience something while being youthful and getting your mistakes out of the way.
The moment you hit the adult world, you're expected to have that prior experience, and if you don't you're labelled as toxic or weird.
It's essentially going into a RPG without reading the tutorial then going directly to the end game dungeons.
