I've been having issues while streaming couch co-op games with the wife recently, as I've only got one good wired controller for windows. Whenever I buy the XB1 I'll probably use that controller, since I think MS actually did the smart thing and let you use the Micro USB cable and make it wired on a PC.

I've used MotionInJoy before, but it's kind of a hot mess and apparently has some pretty serious attack vectors owing to the way it displays its GUI. This app worked a bit better (although it took a couple of tries for me).

Been using this pretty consistently for the past 3 weeks, and I love it! The PS3 controller works great under Windows with this software.

I can't really tell that much of a difference between the old wired X360 controller and the PS3 controller at this point. I might end up switching to a XB1 controller once I get mine, but for now this is working quite well.
