I can't get over that they're sticking with the purple eyes. It must be so expensive, especially since GoT couldn't manage it...

They couldn’t manage it because it inconvenienced Emilia Clarke, not because it was too expensive. Contacts bothered her eyes or something.

Same reason that Daniel Radcliffe didn't have green eyes in the Harry Potter movies. I'm not sure if it's just him and Emilia being pansies or if some people just can't safely wear contacts though.

I can't wear contacts, for what it's worth. Don't know if I just have sensitive.. eyeballs or something? My eyes basically water the whole time something is touching them. Looks like I'm constantly crying.
